Healing Harm in the Church
Welcome to Matt5-9.co.uk - the website for Christians involved or interested in resolving conflict and harm within the church.
This site and particularly the forum were set up in order to share experiences and learning in how and why restorative practices should be used in the Church.
This site hopes to provide inspiration for those who would seek to be the 'peacemakers' described in Matthew 5v9, whether as independent facilitators or through an involvement in church leadership. There are biblical principles and God given practical skills which need to be re-introduced to church life if we are going to live in the type of communities which Christ designed and which are attractive places for the world to want to be part of.
The forum is a place for those that want a space to chat, ask questions and learn about biblical peacemaking and the skills of restorative justice,
a place to share your own experiences of conflict and peacemaking between Christians, and get Prayer, support and advice on your own conflicts.
